Is Young, Famous, and African Renewed For Season 2?

Netflix is yet to renew the series for a second season. Given the positive response from the critics, it’s likely that “Young, Famous, and African” might return with season 2 although fans need to wait for a while for the streaming giant to make the renewal announcement.

When is Young, Famous, and African Season 2 Premiering?

The first season premiered on March 18, 2022, comprising seven episodes, and as we have mentioned above, the series is yet to be renewed by Netflix

Nonetheless, even if the series gets renewed for a second season, new episodes won’t come out until sometime in 2023 but since the first season had just seven episodes, fans can expect it by the end of this year.

The Cast Of Young, Famous, and African Season 2: Who’s In It?

The official cast line is not confirmed. However, it’s expected that all eleven original cast members in the previous season will return including the couples if the show is renewed. Here are the names of the cast members likely to return for season 2 of “Young, Famous, and African”–

  • Annie Macaulay-Idibia

In addition to that, new faces are expected to appear on the show, especially if any of the existing cast members from the first season has a new love. The second season will also likely introduce the viewers to the old flames of the cast members to show up and maybe create a whole new drama and tension.

What Would Happen In Season 2 Of Young, Famous and African?

If the show returns with a second season, it will probably proceed to explore the cast members’ careers and dating life, especially the members that climaxed on cliffhangers. In the first season, we witnessed that Andile and Zari appeared to have developed feelings for each other, while Diamond who is an ex-flame of Zari and Andile’s friend happened to be always around. Also, in the season finale, Diamond and Andile sat down and talked about things with Andile eventually confessing to Diamond that he has feelings for Zari, which didn’t go well with Diamond. We’ll have to find out what happens next. But we do know that things are about to go down pretty bad in season 2 of Young, Famous, and African.
