Here’s everything you need to know about season 2 of Woke.

Will there be a Season 3 of Woke?

Currently, Hulu has not renewed the series for a third run yet. It will probably take another two or three months before the renewal announcement is dropped.

Nonetheless, the chances of the series returning for season 3 appear to be positive for now.

As of now, the official release date is not revealed because the show is still awaiting its official confirmation from Hulu.

If renewed, the new season will consist of eight episodes just like its previous two seasons. It is expected that the third season will arrive in mid-2023.

Woke Season 3 Expected Plot

Plot details are not known as the series is still yet to be renewed and hence, nothing has been revealed.

In May 2022, Star T. Murph sat down with Sadie Dean, a news rep from Script Magazine asked the actor about his experience in seasons 1 & 2.

T. Murph explained: “For me, it’s been a great journey; one because the writers are very responsive. They’re always wanting to know, how would Murph say this? Or how would Murph do this? Or how do you feel Clovis would react in this particular situation? And I love the fact that they actually allow me input in the character, because that allows for it to be believable. And that’s one of the things that we want to see come through on screen is that you want to see the character in realistic situations and scenarios. First of all, they write amazing scripts,” he added: “and then there’ll be times where they allow me to freestyle or riff or add my own comedy and or button at the end of a joke or something of that sort.

He continued: “So, this has just been an overall amazing experience, working with everyone on the team, just because everyone is always receptive to your ideas. It’s never a situation where they just shut you down, like, ‘Oh, no, that’s not gonna happen.’ It’s been a great journey for me, even with the transformation of losing almost 30 or 40 pounds, to coming back, and then the writers are like, ‘OK, we’re going to put that in the script.’ A lot of people would have been like, ‘Oh, we got to recast Clovis,’ he chuckled.”

With that said, we’re optimistic that season 3 will happen as there are a lot to explore and new adventures that are waiting for Clovis and his friends.
