Will there be Tokyo Ravens Season 2?

As of April 2022, neither Eight Bit studio nor LN/Manga authors of the anime series have renewed Tokyo Ravens for a second season. It remains uncertain as it’s already been more than nine years since the first season came out.

Besides, the producers are still silent and have not provided any concrete updates for many years regarding whether or not the anime series will return with a second season. The reason why season 2 hasn’t been announced could be because the anime series wasn’t really popular among the viewers and sales weren’t that good for both the Light Novels and anime series. Furthermore, the key elements to adapting an anime series’ new season depend mostly on the source materials.

Tokyo Ravens Season 2: Is It Renewed Or Cancelled?

Tokyo Ravens series is neither renewed nor canceled while at the same time nothing is confirmed by the makers and it’s highly likely that there won’t be a second season.

Nevertheless, the audience has been left marveling why till now a second season has not been released even though the first season finale episode came out over eight years ago. And like much of the other anime series, Tokyo Ravens is also adapted based on the Light Novel series so if there are enough source materials published in the Light Novel then only a second season can happen but currently it looks like the authors of the Light Novel series are on a hiatus and have stopped publishing new volumes and therefore, the story is left incomplete.

Tokyo Ravens Season 2 Release Date: When Is It?

The 24-episode season of Tokyo Ravens was released on October 9, 2013, and ended on March 26, 2014.

We’re certain that Tokyo Ravens season 2 is most likely not going to be launched. We know it for a fact because there are no updates at all and the lack of information is a clear indication that a second installment is not in the works and will not happen.

The Cast Of Tokyo Ravens Season 2: Who Will Return?

If season 2 is renewed, it’s expected that all the major characters will return including–

  • Harutora Tsuchimikado is voiced by Kaito Ishikawa

Does The Light Novel Series Have Enough Source Materials For Tokyo Ravens Season 2?

The Light Novel series currently has 16 volumes published and volume 17 is yet to be confirmed as the LN authors are on a hiatus.

The first season, which has 24 episodes, adapted volumes 1 to 9 of the light novel series. So, if you want to find out how the tale ends, continue reading from volume 10.

The adventures of Tokyo Ravens are far from over but since it’s on hiatus, it doesn’t have an ending and also, there are not enough materials to cover a whole new season. What we can do right now is to wait patiently.

Where To Watch Tokyo Ravens Anime Series?
