Welcome to Plathville is a reality show that premiered in November 2019 on TLC. The show revolves around Barry and Kim Plath and their nine children, upbringing them in a strict Christian lifestyle with no access to technology.
As per the official description of the series, the couple’s children namely Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy — “have never had a soda, don’t know who Spider-Man or Tom Brady is, and have never watched TV.” They reside in a secluded place in parts of rural Georgia with their “follow their own rules” parents. However, as the children get older their relationship with their parents becomes worse as they want to explore places and other things that were once strictly prohibited.
“When it comes to relationships, if they’re living in our household, we’re gonna have some say in where they go and what they do,” Kim said in an episode that aired in August 2021. “I mean, traditionally, we prefer to get to know other families with children of similar ages, and when there’s a family that we all kinda like and get along with, and there’s some interest from one of ours and one of theirs, then we kinda go from there.”

Release Date for Season 4 of Welcome to Plathville
The third season of Welcome to Plathville was released on August 17, 2021, had a total of twelve episodes with each episode lasting up to 42 minutes. The season ended on November 2, 2021.
As for the release date, TLC have announced the official release date which scheduled to premiere on May17, 2022.
The Cast of Welcome to Plathville Season 4
The core cast may return if season 4 is commissioned. Viewers will get to see Barry and Kim Plat including their children Isaac, Amber, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Cassia, and Mercy.
We also expect to see Ethan and Olivia in the upcoming season and as for Hosanna, she may not return for season 4.
What to Expect From the Plot of Welcome to Plathville Season 4?
The fourth season will mainly focus on Micah relocating to California to venture into his modeling career. Viewers would also get to see Moriah’s coping with her failed relationship with her now ex-boyfriend Max.
Max has previously shared that he won’t be returning in the upcoming season, indicating that The Plaths have already started filming for season 4.
