Initially announced as a miniseries, will Welcome to Chippendales get a season 2?
Announcing the unfortunate news with a very heavy heart, ladies and gentlemen – Welcome to Chippendales is least likely to get a second season. Initially, it was announced as a miniseries, and so, its chances of getting a renewal is pretty slim.
The show is, as you probably know, about Somen “Steve” Banerjee. He’s the founder of Chippendales who only 10 years later pled guilty to accessory to murder and served time in prison.
This story has a pretty clear beginning and end without any cliffhangers. Also, sometimes a miniseries is just a miniseries. So, we won’t ask y’all to get your hopes too high. But hope for the best though.
What to expect from the plot?
The plot of the show is dubbed “A sweeping real crime tale.” It highlights the tale of Somen (Steve). He’s an immigrant from India. He founded and became proprietor of one of the most exclusive men’s clubs in history.
Dude is so cool that he doesn’t allow anything and anyone to come between what he wants. He’s willing to stop at absolutely nothing to guarantee that he stays on top of his game – because he’s an immigrant and has been through difficult circumstances to be where he is.
