Tim Martin Gleason might join the Cast of ‘Magazine Dreams’

Tim Martin Gleason has been cast in the upcoming Elijah Bynum movie ‘Magazine Dreams’ starring opposite Jonathan Majors. 

 

Gleason’s character details in the upcoming film are not exactly known except that he’s playing the role of Mac.

 

Tim Martin Gleason is an American actor recognized for his performance in a touring production of “The Phantom of the Opera.” The actor also starred in many movies and some episodes of TV shows.

 

Following his break with Phantom, he was featured as Romeo in “Romeo & Juliet: The Rock Opera” directed by Terrence Mann at The Goodspeed Opera House and also played a role as Adam Gernstein in The Rhythm Club at the Signature Theatre, in which he obtained a nomination for Helen Hayes Award for the role. 

 

Gleason has appeared in theatres all over the nation playing various roles such as Tony in “West Side Story,” Tommy in “The Who’s Tommy,” Joseph in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and Henrik in “A Little Night Music.” 

 

He is best known for his work in the Amazon popular series “The Kicks” as Tom Burke. Gleason is also a member of the Actors’ Equity Association.

 

Coming back to the film, ‘Magazine Dreams’ which is set to be helmed and penned by Elijah Bynum (”Hot Summer Nights”), the film follows the tale of a bodybuilder portrayed by Jonathan Majors, who has a problem connecting people. The movie will be produced by Jennifer Fox and Dan Gilroy, who also produced the crime thriller “Nightwalker” (2014). Majors will also serve as executive producer on behalf of his production company called Tall Street.

 

Before the film was announced, Bynum’s screenplay for “Magazine Dreams” emerged on the Black List in 2020, a list of most preferred screenplays that have not been produced. The filmmaker’s first movie, “Hot Summer Nights” was launched in South in 2017 at the Southwest festival and featured ensemble cast including Timothée Chalamet, Alex Roe, Maia Mitchell, Maika Monroe, William Fichtner, Rachel O’Shaughnessy, Thomas Jane, and Emory Cohen. Bynum is also currently working on his upcoming horror/thriller project in which he is co-penning the screenplay for a film that will be directed by Lee Daniels titled “Demon House.”

 

Currently, there is no release date for “Magazine Dreams,” but it is reported that the film is in production. It is expected that the movie will be out sometime in 2023. Till then wait for further announcements.
