The story follows Georgia Wells (Kate Beckinsale) who assumes that her husband died following a fatal plane wreck three years back but finds out that her husband is still alive and is residing in Congo. The Widow Season 2 Release Date: When Will It Premiere?


Currently, the show hasn’t been renewed yet although it’s a little over three years since the viewers last saw it on the screens. At this point, many of us are curious to know if a second season will even happen. Some speculate that the series is discontinued and will not have a second season. 


Showrunner Jack Williams disclosed that the show is called-off. He also revealed that there was no point in continuing the story as it was only meant for an eight-episode season which entirely sums up everything. It’s more or less like a limited series. However, if ever the showrunners change their mind, we can expect the new installment to arrive sometime in 2023.
