Steve Zahn will join in HBO’s season 3 of The Righteous Gemstones starring opposite Danny McBride and John Goodman, an insider with familiarity of the series notified TheWrap.
Steve Zahn is well known for having an unswerving comedic charisma in the entertainment industry for decades now. Zhan is the sort of entertainer who has seldom starred in a lead role throughout his profession but is an exemplary “that guy” which everyone loves and happy to see on the screen.
Viewers are about to catch sight of plenty of him because as reported by legit sources, Steve Zhan is all geared up to be a part of the cast for the impending third season of the HBO hit show. What Can Fans Expect in Season 3 of The Righteous Gemstones?
Series creator Danny McBride who also stars in the will return in the upcoming season alongside John Goodman, Edi Patterson and Adam Devine. The series completed its second season on February 27, 2022, and it was renewed for a third season run back in January 2022.
When the time finally arrives for preparing for the future, McBride learns TV shows can be an erratic business so he readies each season with an aspect of vigilance.
“Any season of a show I’ve made, I always approach it as if it’s the last one because you never know what’s gonna happen,” McBride noted. “I don’t want the audience to feel like they’re left in the lurch if the show doesn’t come back.
“I want there to be a sense of completion every season so that if the Gemstones doesn’t come back again, you can still go back and watch it. It doesn’t feel like you’re watching something that wasn’t completed. So I’ll continue to approach every season that way,” McBride added.
In the upcoming season, Jody Hill and David Gordon Green are onboard again as directors and executive producers, alongside Jeff Fradley and Brandon James. The series is being produced by David Brightbill and is co-executively produced by Jonathan Watson. Meanwhile, Grant Dekernion, Kevin Barnett, Edi Patterson, and Chris Pappas will serve as consulting producers.
After the confirmation of the show’s season 3, Amy Gravitt the EVP of programming at HBO in a statement said: “After a season of literal fire and brimstone, blood, sand, and rollerblading, who wouldn’t come back for more? The Gemstone family makes us laugh like nobody else.”
