Here is everything you must know about Season 3 of the Mandalorian from release date to plot.
When will The Mandalorian Season 3 premiere?
The end of The Mandalorian season two baffled the fans with an announcement of a spin-off titled The Book of Boba Fett. But a tweet by Erik Davis clarified that the works on season two will kickstart after the spin-off.
Some #StarWars clarification: #TheBookOfBobaFett is coming next December. It will not run alongside season 3 of #TheMandalorian. As Favreau says here, Mando Season 3 will go start production after next year’s Boba Fett show. pic.twitter.com/8cKF15dw7g

What to expect from The Mandalorian Season 3?
Fans have different presumptions on what could happen in Season three of The Mandalorian. Season two ended on loose strings, with Baby Yoga parting ways with his fatherly figure, Mando. Baby Yoga sets off for his Jedi Order training with Jedi Master, leaving viewers wondering if the iconic character would make a comeback to the part third. To the delight of the fans, Baby Yoga would return as Esposito wants the audience to know more of his extraordinary abilities. Additionally, there is a war waging between Mando and Bo-Katan for the Darksaber, as the latter needs the weapon to regain authority over the Mandalore planet. In the last episodes, Moff Gideon lost Darksaber to Mando in combat. Also, there is the Imperial Forces, with Gideon still alive. Thus, overall, there is a myriad of stories to tell and to be heard. It would be exciting to see the direction in which the story unfolds in the third part.
Who will be in the lead Cast of The Mandalorian Season 3?
Currently, we have no concrete information regarding the cast of The Mandalorian season. Nevertheless, it is safe to say that Pascal will reprise his role as Mando. After the rumors surfacing the social media that Pedro will not a part of the upcoming series, his stunt double, Brendan Wayne wanes off the gossips via an Instagram post. This is what he said, “Yes!! Pedro is coming and awesome. DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR.” Thus, Pascal is a confirmed cast of The Mandalorian Season three.
Besides the title character, Carl Weathers will return to his role as Greef Karga. Giancarlo Esposito, the Breaking Bad fame has hinted at the return to the show in a recent interview. So, Moff Gideon is making a return. Katee Sackhoff will also return for the third season as the heiress of Mandalorian, Bo-Katne Kryze. Unfortunately, the fans would not see the return of Gina Carano (as Cara Dune) after her anti-Semitic social media posts drew severe criticism from the fans globally. Lucasfilm has released a statement confirming the same. It is not known yet who would play the role of Cara or if there would even be a character of that name in the story ahead.
Jon Favreau will be at the helm of the show while Lucasfilm, Fairview Entertainment, and Golem Creations will be the production houses behind the series.
Given that the directorial role is being shared by popular icons over the years, it would be interesting to see who brings his vision on board this time.
