As per official news, it has been confirmed that ‘The Good Karma Hospital’ Season 5 has been called after a successful run of 4 seasons. The Amanda Redman and Neil Morrissey starrer series has been officially axed off and won’t be returning to the fan’s screen for another blockbuster season.
The news of the show’s cancellation came off as a terrific blow to the fans especially the fact that the renewal status got canceled after the creator of the series assured the audience that a fifth season would be on its way if the series received good and positive feedback and ratings from the audience.
Creator Dan Sefton said, “I think we’ll continue to evolve it gradually as seasons go by but we don’t need to reinvent everything, I think that’s the trick with TV, it needs to be a slow evolution. I think this is the case with this show, it has the potential to keep going and to continue to be entertaining because that’s the ultimate goal.”
Why was ‘The Good Karma Hospital’ Season 5 Canceled?
There has been no concrete reason for the cancellation of the show just yet. However, an ITV spokesperson said that there were no current plans to renew the show since they believe that the show has ‘run its course’ and there’s no reason behind renewing it for a fifth season.
