The Plot of Sword Art Online Season 5
The fifth series will be officially called “Sword Art Online Progressive.” It will showcase the first volume of the Progressive arc, titled “Aria of The Starless Night.” In this season, both Kirito and Asuna get imprisoned in the game called Sword Art Online. Thankfully they don’t get affected because of Kirito’s abundance of powers. However, the other facet of the series is that if Asuna and Kirito succumb in the game, their real bodies will also die as the real world and the virtual world get tangled up.
Kirito will proceed to investigate more about the new VRMMORPGs in the upcoming season, following the incidents of Alicization. And the last thing is, Asuna and Kirito will finally get married at the end of the light novel series.
