The series Star aired on FOX television network. The plot is set in Atlanta. It follows three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The main cast included Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. So far there are three seasons of the series.

Will there be a season 4 of Star?
On May 10, 2019, the series Star was cancelled. And so, there won’t be a fourth season. But a TV movie will wrap up the series. Stay tuned for further updates!
Despite the best efforts of series creator Lee Daniels, Fox’s Star — which was cancelled earlier this month after three seasons — will not be saved. Daniels made the announcement himself via an Instagram video on Thursday.
“OK, so I’ve got some bad news: It ain’t happening,” Daniels says in the video. “I tried my best, guys. You know, we got some incredible people. I mean, I can’t even list everybody. I’ll say it in a letter. But in a nutshell, it ain’t happening. I did my best. Just know that, like with Precious or with Empire … The Butler, Monster’s Ball, the next thing I do is going to be Star. It will exist in all of my work. I love you, all of the fans that have supported us.”

Star season 4 release date
