Skate 4: Release date, Trailer and other updates

It’s been over a decade since the Skate series franchise came out with the last game. Fans of this game have been earnestly waiting for EA to come back with a bang to resurrect the game and retain its former glory. Well, guess what? Fans’ continuous pleas were finally answered! 

The legendary skate video game is officially happening. It was declared openly back in 2020 that a new skate game is on its way but till now, there’s little information on what to expect from the forthcoming skate game. The skateboarding game is loved by many from around the world and now that it’s returning, we’ve done thorough detective work to provide you with the latest information. Here’s what we know so far about the much-anticipated game Skate 4.

Skate 4 Release Date: When is it coming out?

Skate 4 exact release has not been announced yet. The first game was launched on September 14, 2007, followed by Skate 2 which was published on January 21, 2009, and Skate 3 launched on May 11, 2010. 

After many rumours and speculation about a possible new Skate game, EA took the initiative and revealed that the Skate 4 is coming soon back in 2020. Though there is no official release date provided, our prediction lies some time around in 2022 or early 2023.

A year ago, an untitled new Skate game possibly referring to Skate 4 was revealed along with the teaser uploaded on YouTube. You can check the announcement teaser below:

 

 

Skate 4 Trailer

The Skate 4 trailer was first published in July 2021. However, the trailer doesn’t really reveal anything about the gameplay for the new game. It was more like an update to let the eager fans understand what the game developers are working on. Check the trailer below:

 

 

Will Skate 4 be available on PS4? 

Skate 4 won’t arrive until 2022 or maybe 2023 and the game can’t be launched this year.  EA will discuss with the various gaming platforms that will be hosting but only at the right time. Furthermore, it’s not known whether Skate 4 will be available on PS4 but according to speculations as per the gaming experts, the forthcoming game will most probably be available on PS4 & PS5, the Xbox S consoles & X Series.

 

Skate 4: News

The game developers have been updating us every now and then to let us know what they’ve been up to. On July 18, 2021, a post was shared that simply captioned “We’ve been busy” and what seemed to be a message from the team of experts. Read the message below:

 

The team of Skate 4 have said it! They’re “working on it.” Just as they’ve promised they delivered us a video on that very next day after the message post which was shared on the official Twitter page. Check out the video:
