Sinner season 5: Despite the low TRP, will the show be renewed for season 5?

Sinner Season 5 Plot: What to expect from the fifth instalment?
Derek Simonds, the showrunner, opened up about the end of the fourth season. He stated that they didn’t hurry up to end the fourth season.
Moving on further, he said that they had planned to end up the story of Detective Ambrose in four seasons. He stated that fans had seen Detective Ambrose’s retirement as a detective in the fourth season.
The show makers also added that Detective Harry Ambrose’s role might not continue. However, they would create a new plot by revolving around a new detective as the protagonist. That said, if season 5 were to happen, it would lead towards a new journey.
