After witnessing a massive success from its last season, Tara Duncan, the president of Freedom renewed the series for the second season. Here’s everything you need to know.
Will Single Drunk Female Season 2 be Renewed?
In April 2022, Freeform renewed the Single Drunk Female TV series for a second season.
Freeform president Tara Duncan in an interview stated, “I am thrilled to bring Single Drunk Female back for a second season,”
He further added, “Jenni Konner, Simone Finch and Daisy Gardner created a series that struck a strong chord in such a sincere and authentic way. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for Sam as she continues on her journey to becoming her best self in Season 2.”
Single Drunk Female Season 2 Release Date?
The first season of Single Drunk Female, a comedy-drama American TV series, was released on January 20, 2022. A total of 10 episodes, each of 20-25 minutes were broadcasted by Freedom in the very first season.
Recently, the series was renewed for its second season. However, no official announcement about the release of Single Drunk Female Season 2 has been made, as of now. As per the speculation, the series might hit the screen by 2023.

Single Drunk Female Season 2 Ratings?
Single Drunk Female has received positive reviews from all the critic’s corners. ALL-IN-ALL the series turned out to be a massive hit in terms of viewership as well as the ratings.
Going by the ratings, it holds a decent score on all the review aggregator websites. On Review Greek, it managed to score 8 out of 10 ratings.
While on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, the series gained 6.6 out of 10 ratings and 97 audience approval ratings, respectively.
Single Drunk Female Season 2 Plot
With season 2 on its way, we have some new deets coming in from the showrunners on what fans can expect in the upcoming season.
“Next season, knock on wood, you now have this new interesting configuration, which is Brit, Sam, and Felicia. There’s a new trio that we don’t have to figure out how to get together because they want to be together,” stated series executive producer Daisy Gardner.
No matter how things can turn, the whole bunch of people surrounding Sam and supporting her along the battle appears to get even bigger with every new episode.
“I think of Mindy telling James how she sees life as kind of this video game quest. To me, that’s a little bit like how we’ve set up sobriety,” Gardner explained. “There’s this amazing treasure and you can get it. It’s going to be an adventure, and there’s gonna be twists and turns. But there’s help if you need it, and you just have to reach out and you have to avoid the obstacles.”
“It’s also important to show, at least for me, that AA is a support system, if you use it that way, if you do the work,” series EP Simone Finch added. “I joke that it takes a village to keep me sober. That togetherness, that whole thing, whether or not you believe in it, it works.”
