It revolves around a trio group that happens to bully a character named Tommy and his friends. They then chase the trio and find a car in the way which is of someone named Ramon. Later, all of them explore a haunted house nearby.

For the film, the rewriting is done by a set of 3 writers- Guillermo del Toro, Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. The producers of the film include Mr. Guillermo himself, Sean Daniel, Jason F. Brown, J. Miles Dale and Elizabeth Grave. It stars Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Zajur, Natalie Ganzhorn, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, and Lorraine Toussaint. The music is given by Marco Beltrami and Anna Drubich while the great cinematography was done by Roman Osin.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark 2 Release Date: When is it?

Coming to the sequel of the film, there isn’t much information out right now. Some articles and news reports confirm the making of the film along with major websites. While some articles state that it may not happen anytime soon as the release date was expected to be somewhere in 2020 or 2021. An official confirmation seems to be present nowhere as of now. There is no first look, teaser or trailer out yet. Naturally, there is no information about the plot as well as the star cast yet either.

With the pandemic already being the hurdle for the makers in 2020, it is expected that they might need a bit of time to forge the creation of the sequel. Based on this fact, it can be assumed that the movie might come out in fall 2022 or in the coming years ahead.

Plot details for the upcoming sequel are unknown. However, the first film gained huge appreciation, the makers already have a responsibility of creating something up to a similar level or maybe more than that. With the huge success of the first film, it is obvious to gather some good time for the sequel as well.

On the other hand, it is also obvious to wait impatiently as this audio-visual treat has been really good. But being patient and awaiting another great piece of cinema is the only option left as of now to do.
