The Handmaid’s Tale is an American dystopian TV series that debuted in 2016. Created by Bruce Miller, the storyline of the series is based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Canadian author Margaret Atwood.

As reported by Deadline, “Samira will portray Offred’s college BFF and aspiring handmaid Moira, who joins her in navigating within a society that regards women as property of the state.”
