RuPaul’s Drag Race is an American reality competition TV series that premiered on February 2, 2009. The RuPaul’s Drag Race series is the first-ever franchise for Drag Race being produced by WOW Presents Plus, World of Wonder for Logo TV, and, starting with the ninth season, VH1 joined the production team. 

The series exhibits RuPaul in the hunt for the and the next drag sensation in America. RuPaul serves as the host, instructor, and lead judge for this show, as competitors are allotted various challenges every week.

Throughout the seasons, the show hires a list of judges, including regular judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and a rotating third primary judge consisting of either Ross Mathews, or Carson Kressley. It also includes multiple special guest judges, who give their honest opinion to the competitors. Just as the title of the show, the competitors must bring out the iconic fashion as they compete on drag queen and drag racing. 

Directed by Nick Murray and distributed by RuPaul, the show currently has thirteen seasons in total and has thirteen winners so far with an overall episodes of 175. The list of the past winners throughout the season are–

Before we jump further into details, many of you might be thinking why talk about the fifteenth season when the fourteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race has not even been released yet? Well, understandably, people are looking more forward to the upcoming season rather than the much later season which is not even confirmed. 

What do we know about RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 & 15: Is it confirmed, renewed? 

As of now, the fifteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is not confirmed yet. It might take a while till we get an official announcement from the show makers. 

Moreover, the fourteenth instalment of RuPaul’s Drag Race was announced way back on November 13, 2020, and it was reported that production began in May 2021 and lasted till June 2021. RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 release date: When will it premiere?

There are no specific details about the release date or the whole fifteenth season of the popular reality show in particular but there is a high possibility that the show will get renewed for a fifteen season run and if that happens, we can expect to see the new episodes in late 2022 or early 2023. 

Judges, Host & Cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15

As usual, Queen Ru will be the presenter and also serve as a lead judge on the panel and joining Ru on the panel of judges are Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews, and Carson Kressley. Viewers can also expect to see rotating celebrity guest stars on the show. The show makers have not revealed who these celebrity guests are but the show had famous artists like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Normani, Nicki Minaj, and AOC. So we’re hopeful that season 15 will feature many well-known celebrities as guest judges.

Like every season there will be fourteen participants competing in the show and the winning title will earn a whopping $100,000 and many other benefits aside from winning the cash prize.

If the cast is true this will be the first American season to introduce contestants from Connecticut and the first ever in the franchise to bring in sixteen participants and also the first to introduce biological twins who are Sugar and Spice.
