Here are all the updates about the potential second season of Record or Ragnarok!
Record of Ragnarok season 1 recap!
In the first season of Record of Ragnarok, we follow the story of 13 gods and 13 humans chosen by fate to battle each other in a tournament called Ragnarok. The gods are tasked with defending their respective pantheons while the humans must fight to prove humanity’s worthiness to exist.
The tournament is presided over by the god Odin who acts as referee and judge. Each round of combat is judged based on strength, strategy, and courage, with victory determined by either killing or incapacitating one’s opponent.
Throughout the course of the competition, various secrets about the gods and their motivations for fighting are revealed. It is also revealed that there are powerful forces at play behind the scenes, manipulating both sides of the conflict in order to achieve their own ends.
Ultimately, after many fierce battles between gods and humans, Thor emerges victorious over his human counterpart, Yuya Sakaki. However, this is not enough to satisfy Odin’s criteria for determining humanity’s worthiness. In response, he reveals that the true test has yet to come: a final battle against himself in order to decide humanity’s ultimate fate.
