Project Runway is a reality-based contest TV show that concentrates on fashion technique. It introduces talented and skilled designers across the globe, as they vie against one another to be at the top of the game and emerge as the ultimate winner. Each week, they’ll have to face new tasks and the contestants that perform poorly have to face the elimination round. When the series concludes, the finalists get to display at a high-end fashion show that takes place at the New York Fashion Week. After the runway show is over, the judges then decide and determine the winner.
Created by Eli Holzman, the reality series was originally published on December 1, 2004, that aired on Bravo but later it moved to Lifetime but in 2019, the show again moved back to Bravo. It stars Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, Zac Posen, Rachel Roy, Karlie Kloss, Brandon Maxwell, Christian Siriano, and Elaine Welteroth.
The nineteenth season of this series was released in October 2021 and fans have been thoroughly enjoying it so far. The current season will air through till January 2022 with a total of 11 episodes and while at the same time fans can’t help but be curious to know if there’ll be a twentieth season run for this incredible series.

When will the fans get to see the new episodes of Project Runway Season 20?
The Wrap reported that casting for the 19th season began in February 2020. Fast forward, in April 2021 Bravo revealed that the shooting was to begin soon, as per Variety. However, there are no concrete details about season 20 of Project Runway.
Project Runway, one of the longest-running television series has released nineteenth seasons over the years and while season 19 is currently airing, fans are already eagerly looking forward to a new season.
Like many other TV shows which were delayed by the pandemic, Project Runway was among them but it finally commenced airing on October 14, 2021, and as of now, Project Runway has not yet been confirmed for a twentieth season run. Many are hopeful that the competition series would resume given the show’s massive success, and provide fans with an arrival date sometime in 2022, but let’s wait and see what happens.
Host, Judges & Cast of Project Runway Season 20
From the very beginning of the series, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn— the two powerful forces fulfilled their duties as host and tutor on the show respectively. However, back in 2018, Gunn and Klum departed from the show and moved to another show ‘Making the Cut’ on Amazon Prime Video. Afterwards supermodel Karlie Kloss and season 4 winner Christian Siriano replaced them, along with Brandon Maxwell, Nina Garcia, and Elaine Welteroth fulfilling as the show’s judges. It was then reported via Variety that Karlie Kloss stepped down as a host but will instead appear as a guest judge.
Many viewers are so used to seeing Klum and Gunn on the show and without them, the show somewhat feels empty and incomplete but that’s how it is and the show must go on with or without them.
As for the cast of Project Runway season 20, nothing has been revealed yet while season 19 consists of 16 designers competing in the show are Anna Yinana Zhou, Aaron Michael, Caycee Black, Coral Castillo, Bones Jones, Chastity Sereal, Katie Kortman, Kristina Kharlashkina, Darren Apolonio, Kenneth Barlis, Meg Furguson, Prajje Oscar Jean Baptiste, Sabrina Spanta, Octavio Aguilar, Zayden Skipper, and Shangall Lacayo. While we wait for the official release date, fans are expected to wait for a little longer till the names of the sixteen designers are out for the twentieth season of Project Runway.

Season 20 of Project Runway is returning with an interesting twist!
On October 16, 2022, it was revealed at BravoCon 2022 “Project Runway of Their World” that Christian Siriano and Elaine Welteroth declared openly that Season Twenty will be an All-Stars season consisting of some of the most gifted fashion designers from last seasons. During the panel, Siriano and Welteroth were joined by Paige DeSorbo, Chanel Ayan, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Dorit Kemsley, and Bali Chainani to review a few of their most remarkable and iconic countenance.
The nineteenth season of Project Runway finished off with a historic finale, which brought in exclusively female finalists for the first time ever on the program where Shantall Lacayo was declared the winner.
Project Runway may be preparing for its season 20 but this show is not the only long-running show on Bravo Top Chef is another competing show on the network that is gearing up for its twentieth season as well.
