Over the course of four years, Ozark produces four seasons in total. The fourth season was the final season of the views which was released into two parts. As of now, there is no news about the possibility of a fifth season happening. Let’s find out in detail below:

Will there be a Season 5 of Ozark?

Unfortunately, no. The series has come to an end after airing for four incredible seasons.

Regardless of how popular Ozark is or how huge the fandom is, the storyline can longer be prolonged beyond its ultimate conclusion. Nothing is permanent and all good things must come to an end. So, we must accept the fact that the series has ended for good.

Needless to say, it’s highly unlikely that the fifth season of Ozark will happen despite fans’ demands and the massive success it received. It’s time to bid farewell to this amazing series for entertaining us with four seasons.

Ozark Season 5 Release Date

As mentioned above, Ozark’s season 4 was the final outing of the series. The fourth instalment was divided into two parts. The first part was released on January 21, 2022, while the second part was launched on April 29, 2022.

Currently, it’s uncertain for a fifth season to happen since the showrunners made it clear that season 4 was the final season but as per speculations, it looks like season 5 might be announced sooner or later though we doubt that it’ll ever happen but one can never say never.

On the off chance, if the series gets renewed, fans can expect to see the new episodes somewhere in 2023.

Season 5 of Ozark Plotline: What to be Expected?

Series executive producer Chris Mundy and actor Jason Bateman have shared their ideas about where the Byrdes are heading after the conclusion.

“I think they’ve gone on,” Chris Mundy informed Vanity Fair. “They got everything they think they wanted. But I think they’re dragging around a curse, to be honest.” Batman who was also present In that exact Vanity Fair feature had a lot to spill. “I would bet you that they’ll go up to Chicago and they’ll test this theory of Wendy’s, which is, Have we acquired enough political capital to put into play some things that will help folks?” he explained. “Acquiring that capital was messy, but will the ends justify the means? My assumption is that, while they’re smarter now than when we first met them, I still feel like their hubris and arrogance will continue to trip them up. I think humility would probably guide them towards some better decisions, but I don’t think they’re there yet, unfortunately.”

So in short, can we still hope that there is a tiny bit of chance for the series to return? In the end, it all comes down to Netflix’s decision so let’s wait and see how things go.
