Ordinary Joe is an American drama TV series that aired from September 20, 2021, to January 24, 2022, on NBC. The series developed by Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner, created by Matt Reeves and was based on ‘Format’ by Caleb Ranson. It stars James Wolk, Natalie Martinez, Elizabeth Lail, and Charlie Barnett.
The series follows Joe Kimbreau (James Wolk) as he makes dramatic life decisions as he graduates from Syracuse University. Ten years after his graduation, he experiences three different parallel timelines. One as a cop officer just like his dad; two as a famous musician pursuing his passion: three as a nurse, after marrying his college girlfriend.
Now the question that fans want to know most is whether or not the series would return with a second season. Let’s find out in detail below.
Is Season 2 Of Ordinary Joe Renewed Or Canceled?
When the series was released it received favorable responses but somewhat failed to convince the critics due to its not-so-impressive storyline. Nonetheless, there are many fans out there who still wants the show to return. But sadly, the program was canceled in March 2022 after the first season. So we highly doubt that there would be a season 2 of Ordinary Joe.
Ordinary Joe Season 2 Release Date: When Is It?
As previously mentioned, NBC would not be moving ahead with the second season. The cancellation news came a little over a month after the first season’s finale.
The announcement is not surprising at all, the fact that the program failed to perform well and was ranked the “lowest-rated drama of the season” on NBC. Hence, the series stands canceled and a second season won’t happen in the future.
