It was highly anticipated that the second installment of the show will continue the plotline and will be based on the book Half Bad. According to the author and the actors, there was a lot that was left to show the audience, several storylines were expected to unravel, new characters introduced, and old characters evolved. However, none of it will now happen as the show has not been renewed for a second season.
