On May 16, 2018, Cinemax renewed the second chapter of the series, Mike Judge Presents Tales from the Tour. It was also announced by the makers that the storyline of the second chapter will continue the first season and follows a genre focus from country to the likes of James Brown and P-Funk. As of October 2022, no announcement regarding the renewal of the third season has been announced by the makers and creators of the series. If the series happens, it’ll certainly pick up the series from where it ends but with a different outlook.
