Law & Order, an American police procedural and legal drama, debuted on September 28, 2021, on NCB. As of May 2022, the series has completed its 21 successful seasons. 

Set and filmed in New York City, the series follows a two-part approach: the first half-hour is the investigation of a crime (usually murder) and apprehension of a suspect by New York City Police Department detectives; the second half is the prosecution of the defendant by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. 

The series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television.

Cheers, Law and Order Season 21 has been officially renewed by the producer of this franchise. 

Speaking about the series with Variety, Wolf mentioned, “This will be Season 21, so it’s the same Law & Order everyone knows from the first 20 years.” 

He added “So there’s nothing to fix, we just want to continue telling great stories. Casting as always will be three cops and three D.A.s.”

Wolf also stated, “We always approach storytelling the same way: Good writing, acting and production values, and give the viewers what they want. That’s been our mantra from day one.” 

Thus, this proves Law and Order Season 21 is finally coming back.

The cast of Law And Order has been officially confirmed by mid-December. Considering the end of the previous season, we can anticipate some of the cast members to reappear in the upcoming instalment.

Revealing the plot, Deadline, with a post confirmed that the show will follow the “classic bifurcated format” and feature “the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.” 

Moreover, it is noted that Law And Order Season 21 is not a reboot, but is considered a continuation of  Law & Order’s original run. Well, it’s for sure that the upcoming season will commence from where the last season left off. With new locations and the same old drama, season 21 will be a banger, too!
