Raghav Subbu, the director of the series himself provided the confirmation news of a third season back in September 26, 2021, and is in production.
Kota Factory has also managed to captivate fans and obtained mainly positive and impressive reviews from the audience and critics alike. The series is currently a fan favorite across the nation. It’s no surprise that the showrunners decided to order a third season run to continue the story also considering the love and support it received from viewers around the world.

Kota Factory Season 3 Release Date: When is it?
As of now, the official release date is yet to be announced but we do know that the show is in production. The second season was launched on September 24, 2021, and just two days after its release, the director of the series confirmed that there’ll be a third season.
Needless to say, there is no concrete information regarding the upcoming season but we’re hopeful that Netflix will release a statement soon about season 3 and although a specific air date is not known, it is expected that the third installment will arrive somewhere in the Fall of 2022.

Kota Factory Season 3 Plot: Expected Storyline
The exact plot details are yet to be revealed but since the second season ended on a major suspenseful note, the story will most probably continue from where it was left off.
In the third season, viewers can expect to see Jeetu’s back story and how he ended up in Kota. Additionally, the forthcoming season will also focus on Varnali’s multiple self-harm attempts leading to stirring the plot.
Director of the series, Raghav Subbu in his recent interview reveals that the third season of Kota Factory will showcase more of the challenges and how the students try to cope. He explains: “This city is about determination, it’s about being better than who you are and making it. Our goals may be different, but our journeys are much the same.”
So right now, the question that fans want to find out the most is who will be among the selected candidates of IIT and who are the students that failed to make it? Guess we’ll have to wait for season 3.
