True Lies is a 1994 American spy action comedy film series written and directed by James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, Art Malik, Tia Carrere, Bill Paxton, Eliza Dushku, Grant Heslov and Charlton Heston.
The movie is based on the 1991 French comedy film La Totale and follows U.S. government agent Harry Tasker (Schwarzenegger). He struggles to balance his double life as a spy with his familial duties.

About the movie
Secretly a spy but thought by his family to be a dull salesman, Harry Tasker (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is tracking down nuclear missiles in the possession of Islamic jihadist Aziz (Art Malik).
Harry’s mission is complicated when he realizes his neglected wife, Helen (Jamie Lee Curtis), is contemplating an affair with Simon (Bill Paxton), a used-car salesman who claims he’s a spy. It was the number one film in Japan for twelve straight weeks. In China, the film generated a total of ¥103 million RMB, taking The Fugitive’s record for becoming the country’s highest grossing Hollywood film.
Further, it went on to gross $146,282,411 in the United States and Canada and $232,600,000 in the rest of the world. Thus, totaling $378,882,411 worldwide, making it the third highest-grossing film of 1994.
