iCarly season 7: Release date, Cast and Plot

iCarly return after a decade has sparked new hopes in audiences all over the world. Originally primered in 2007, the teen drama successfully ran for six seasons before coming to an end in November 2012. Its return as reboot series is something refreshing with an air of nostalgia for the series fans. The revival show landed on Patramont + in June 2021 with many of the series original cast including Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress reprising their roles. What was special about the Nickelodeon reboot was that it had the same element of humor and creativity as its original. With season two’s finale just dropped, fans are already clamoring for another season of Icalrly. But disappointingly, the creators have not yet made a renewal announcement. That said, has the reboot ended with just two seasons, or are there more episodes on the way? Keep reading on to know everything about a possible season three of ICarly.

Will Icarly return for a third season?

As of now, the series’ future remains uncertain as there is no word reading the series’ renewal. Earlier, the showrunners issued an early renewal for season two while its first run has not fully released its episodes. However, at this point, neither the network nor the producers have disclosed their plans for season three. In that case, fans are left in the dark whether to hold their breath for another season or not.

When’s the airing date of iCarly’s season three?

With no confirmation about season three, there is no defined release date for the revival series. Nonetheless, if we consider its prior seasons’ airing timeline, we should not expect its future episodes at least until 2023.

What’s the possible plotline of iCarly’s season three?

Though there is no exact plot synopsis of season three as of now, we know where things will go in season three with Freddie and Carly having no chance of escaping the obvious question about what they feel for one another given none of them denied their love. Of course, the finale episode of season two was significant for Creddie fans. For long, viewers were left to anticipate things on their own, but now it’s time that they get their answers. Even the actors, Miranda Cosgrove and Nathan Kress desire to see their characters (Carly and Freddie) together at some point.

But looks like season three has many more answers like what happened to Carly and Spencer’s mother, what is with Freddie’s dad, and more. Additionally, the next season could explore Laci Mosely’s character, Harper, focusing more on the designing side than a fashion stylist. Jaidyn’s Millicent also has some fun parts with her boyfriend that fans would love to witness more of. But most importantly, something exciting is coming for Freddie fans in the possible season three. So, stay tuned.

Who is in the cast of iCarly’s season three?

Miranda Cosgrove returns to take the role of an influencer, Carly Shay who launches her web series with her friends and becomes an overnight sensation. Cosgrove is joined by Jerry Trainor as Spencer, Carly’s older brother, and Nathan Kress as Freddie Benson, Carly’s longtime friend alongside new cast additions comprising Laci Mosley as Harper and Jaidyn Triplett as Millicent. Although fan-favorite actor, Jennette McCurdy (Sam) was not seen in the revival seasons as Jennette has left the entertainment industry many years ago. Jennette is currently enjoying her new role as a content creator, producer, and director. In her podcast Empty Inside, the actor told fans that she did not want to be an actor, and is embarrassed by the roles she has had played in her career. Her co-stars respect his decision to do those things that she is good at.

Season two also featured several celebrity appearances including Mary Scheer (Mrs. Benson), Josh Peck (Paul), Rachel Bloom (McKenna), Jeremy Rowley (Lewbert), and Mia Serafino (Pearl), as well as RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants.

Thus, we reckon that a possible season three will see the cast members coming back.
