God Eater is a Japanese anime series that is an adaptation of a popular video game of the same name. Ufotable animated God Eater which was launched on July 12, 2015. Later, it was taken over by MVM films from December 2017 and was released in the same year.

 

Set in a war infested world where human soldiers use God arcs weapons known as “God Eaters” to save mankind and fight against the monsters called as Aragami. 

 

The 13-episode season was directed by Takayuki Hirao and composed by Kei Tsunematsu along with Hirao while Hikaru Kondo served as the producer. The audience last witnessed the series way back in March 2016. Despite the huge popularity of the anime adaptation, it’s been a long wait for the fans who have been eagerly awaiting the second season. What Would Be The Plot For The Season Of God Eater? 

 

The second season would most likely follow the exact storyline as the video game. The makers are expected to keep the same storyline and not deviate from what’s been set because the video game became popular for its intriguing plot and changing the storyline would be a bit of a risk. The first season of God Eater concluded when it was 2071. We also witnessed that Lindow lost his hand during a heated battle with the Aragamis. Henceforth, the possibility of a new lead is highly likely in the second season.
