Friends From College Storyline
The comedy series revolves around a bunch of friends in their 40s from Harvard navigating their challenges in life. After 20 years, they were reunited and found themselves drunk in a tragic comedy, affairs, and tries to seek the meaning of true love.
“The trouble with the horrible ‘Friends from College’ is not that its fundamental characters are sometimes greedy, misguided, or heartless; that is almost to be anticipated in the darker regions of the key half-hour scene,” Variety essayist Maureen Ryan stated in her review of the sitcom.
‘Friends From College’ mainly showcases the problems and absurdity of old friendships, ex-flames, and the difficulties of combining maturity with recollections in an interwoven storyline. Although each member is unpleasant in their way, it is impossible to overvalue the group’s lack of allure.
The show’s ratings were extremely bad and we can see why the showrunners decided to cancel the show after the second season.
