It’s little surprise that fans have been awaiting the release of Fallout 5 ever since the release of the most recent game in the series, FT 76, was out in 2018!
In an interview with IGN, Bethesda chief reveals the aptitude of Fallout 5. The fourth game in the series, Fallout 4 was released back in 2015. It was a successful game – and received warm responses from the players. Since then players have been anticipating the release of Fallout 5! So, what do we know about Fallout 5? Here’s everything we’ve reckoned so far.
Fallout 5: Release Date
Bethesda contends that they’re working on other projects (as of now), essentially, The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield. But don’t get your hopes low, fam! Just because the developers are working on other games doesn’t curb the likelihood of it arriving – and oh well, there’s a good possibility that something is cooking in Bethesda Studios!
As for the release date of Fallout 5, nothing’s been affirmed and made public. While Bethesda did reveal that the game will be released soon, there haven’t been any announcements or updates on the network. Given the trends and covid situation, the game is less likely to be released this year. However, we can expect it by the end of 2023!
Fallout 5: Trailer
As of now, the team has kept everything under the wraps! While it does make the fans go all crazy awaiting the release, it’s all worth the wait! Bethesda studios can anytime drop a teaser trailer to assure fans the game is on its way (much like what they did with The Elder Scrolls 4). But there’s nothing to go off for now. Stay tuned for more such updates!
Fallout 5: Supported Platforms
In terms of supported platforms, the game won’t be exclusively available on any platform. Until Sony bestows a significant offer to Bethesda studios, we can’t expect it on a certain platform or device. However, the game may be restricted to Xbox systems, which can be rendered troublesome for Sony. Little surprise why PS5 players are blaming Sony for only releasing a few major games on the device. If games like Forza Horizon 5 or Fallout 5 are not released on PS5, it will be a bad sign for the corporation.
According to research, Fallout 5 will be released on PS5, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and PC.
Fallout 5: New Map and Locations
As Bethesda prioritises East Coast of America in all of its recent releases, it bestows a clear indication that Fallout 5 may include these locations as well. Here are some of the maps and locations from Fallout 5, according to the leakes:
- Chicago
By playing Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, it can be speculated that Chicago can be seen in Fallout 5. Many sources have also foretold the Chicago map to be in Fallout 5.
- New Orleans
Based on some lakes & Sources, it is believed that New Orleans was spotted back then in 2016 as one of the maps of Fallout. New Orleans was neglected at that time for some technical issues, but now you can probably see it in Fallout 5.
- Places other than America
If we talk about places other than America, which the developers of Bethesda can speculate for the map for Fallout 5 are Korea, Russia and China.
Fallout 5: Gameplay and Story
To play safe and say little about the game would be considered a masterstroke because, in the end, you will be proven wrong by Bethesda! As we all know, Bethesda is known for its surprises, every freaking time you will get a little more than what you expect. Consequently, it will be stupid to talk about the gameplay – but yes, one thing is guaranteed, Fallout 5 is going to feature the world’s largest map for any first-person Fallout game to date!
If we talk about the story of the upcoming fallout, no one can guess it right except the developers of Bethesda. During an interview Bethesda director, Todd Howard confirmed that they are ready with one-pager on the platter for Fallout 5. This simply shows that the story, location, and theme of the game have been roughly drafted by the developer teams. Now, we’re just waiting for them to implement the idea and develop something incredible again after Fallout 76!
