Everything We Know So Far About The Boys Season 3

The Boys is an American action/superhero television series created by Eric Kripke based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson. Ever since The Boys premiered in 2019, it became a huge hit and with the release of season 2, it got even more popular.

Considering the show’s insane popularity, it’s not much of a surprise for the series to return with a new season. According to Business Insider, The Boys became the first non-Netflix to appear on Nielsen’s list of one of the top streaming platforms, and we’re very much excited to see more of the fun adventures following Billy Butcher and the team who will be returning for the series the third season.

In February 2021, production on the next instalment finally began. Eric Kripke also stated on Twitter that filming for the next instalment began this year. With filming scheduled, it won’t take much time for the series to wrap up. According to the International Alliance Stage Employees (IATSE) website, the series’ third season will be completed in August this year.

When Is The Boys Season 3 Releasing?

The Boys season 3 does not have a specific date yet, it’s still yet to be announced. I guess fans will have to wait for an official announcement from the production team.

On July 13, according to a report from The Wrap disclosed that filming is almost done with only two episodes left, which gives us a rough idea that filming will be wrapped probably by summer but we can’t say for sure mainly because of the pandemic. Having said that, it also requires a vast amount of post-production work.

Let’s say, if The Boys Season 3 finished filming latest by September or October of this year, it’s possible that fans have to wait until the summer of 2022.

Well, it seems that fans don’t need to wait long to see The Boys returning for some more actions as season 3 is all set to premiere on Friday, June 3, 2022.
