Eva Marcille and Devale Ellis are reported to join the cast of A Christmas Fumble! Both the actors are set to star in the movie. The film will be premiering on Saturday, December 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.
A Christmas Fumble is a Christmas movie about a pro footballer, Jordan, who now works as a TV commentator. In the film, the network isn’t renewing his contract as a footballer. That’s because something happened when he was in college. The plot also includes a girl, Nicole. Nicole fails to mention that she and Jordan were once in a romantic relationship. This could be seen as a conflict of interest. Consequently, she hurt her own chances of being made partner at her company.
Nicole’s efforts to restore Jordan’s image are endlessly thwarted by Jordan’s shallow entertainment reporter fiancée. Thus, making her job even more complicated. However, Nicole won’t give up! She’s called the “queen of crisis management” for a good enough reason.
Official synopsis
A Christmas Fumble revolves around the “queen of crisis management,” Nicole Barnes (Marcille). “She gets the toughest assignment of her career when asked to handle a breaking scandal for former pro footballer-turned-TV-commentator Jordan Davies (Ellis). His network contract isn’t going to be renewed because of a violation going back to his college days. However, Nicole fails to disclose that she and Jordan were once boyfriend and girlfriend — a conflict of interest that could end her own hopes of being made partner at her firm. To make matters worse, Nicole’s efforts to rehabilitate Jordan’s image are constantly undermined by Jordan’s shallow entertainment reporter fiancée.”
