The colony is a USA Network’s science fiction drama series that had a successful run from 2016 to 2018. Yet in July 2018, the USA network announced the most unexpected news- the cancellation of the series after its third season. The fans globally were not happy with this bit of news, so ‘SaveColony’ started making rounds on social media. But USA network had no plans to reverse its decision. Given that three years have elapsed since then, what is the current renewal status of Colony Season 4? Is it picked up by another streaming platform or USA network has renewed it for a fourth season? Will There Be a Season 4 of Colony?
Sadly, a fourth season of Colony won’t be happening as the series has been officially canceled after the third season was aired. USA Network confirmed the cancellation news which came as a surprise to many fans.

Colony Season 4- Release date USA Network has not given a green light to the series creators, which makes its fate questionable. According to some sources, Season three of Colony failed to attract viewership numbers and led to revenue loss for the producers. So far, USA Network has not revealed any further reason behind its cancellation. Thus, we are left to believe that the declined viewership has made the network turn a blind eye to the series.
If Netflix or other streaming platform acquires the rights of Colony, we could anticipate a return of the series. With that said, it is unlikely that Season four of Colony will ever come out.

Colony Season 4- Plot
Colony follows the story of the Bowman family and their fight against a robotic alien invasion ( which is hunted by another dreadful alien race). Will Bowman, the matriarch, joins the Redhats, to save his family and to find his younger son, Charlie. Later, Will discovers that his wife, Katie is a resistance operative. Season three witnesses the couple’s separation and reuniting the family with their lost child.
Currently, no plot twist has been revealed by the creators of the series. Thus, nothing much could be said about the fourth part’s storyline. We shall update this blog as soon as we have more concrete details about the series.
Colony Season 4- Cast
If season 4 of Colony is happening, then expect the cast of the previous season to return to their roles. Josh Holloway will reprise his role as Will Bowman. Joining him will be Sarah Wayne Callies as Katie Bowman. Although their relationship in the fourth part will not be the same after their separation. Bowman’s family is incomplete without the kids. Be ready to welcome Bram Bowman, Grace Bowman, and Charlie Bowman. Any additions to the cast are not known yet. Stay tuned for more.

Colony Season 4 Won’t Happen
Season 4 of Colony won’t happen as the series was canceled after the third season. Season 3 was the final season of the show.
