Akame Ga Kill Season 2: What’s the show about?

Akame Ga Kill is an animated action fiction TV series that was released over the network on July 17, 2014. The show is written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. 

The storyline revolves around Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital to raise money for his family. While collecting the sum, he discovers that this area is strongly corrupted. Later, he comes across an assassin group that helps him combat the corrupt empire. 

Akame Ga Kill Season 2: Renewed or Cancelled?

Season 1 of this action fiction manga series did pretty great and fans appreciated the plot of the show. The first season hit the screens on the 17th of July 2014, and up until now, we still haven’t received any news updates regarding the renewal of Akame Ga Kill season 2. 

It’s been seven years and there’s no news on the subject. Will the show be renewed? Well, we’re not quite certain. Also, it’s a fact that a new season of anime is greenlit only when the previous season makes a good profit. Adhering to the profits made by the Akame Ga Kill season 1, the show might not get a renewal. The first season didn’t, however, make enough money.
