Adrienne Barbeau (”Criminal Minds”) and Kristoffer Polaha (”Jurassic World Dominion”) have officially joined the cast of the upcoming drama series “Shelter.”

“Shelter” is adapted from Coben’s Mickey Bolitar trilogy, the series follows the tale of Mickey Bolitar, a high school junior (Jaden Michael) as he begins his new school in New Jersey. When an eerie old woman (Tovah Feldshuh) informs Mickey that his father is still alive and not dead, he starts to lose his mind on top of everything that is going on in his life. Mickey discovers a grounding influence in another new student named Ashley Kent (Samantha Bugliaro), who’s gone through her own disaster. But she then goes missing, Mickey and his other new buddies Ema (Abby Corrigan) and Spoon (Adrian Greensmith) found out all the things she informed him wasn’t true—and that he is in severe threat unless he gets to the depths of what really happened to her and his deceased father. Mickey’s investigation pushes him into a globe of schemes, lies, and the shadiest facets of humankind.
A production of MGM International Television Productions and Amazon Studios, “Shelter” is created by Harlan Coben with Allen MacDonald and are also serving as executive producers. Alongside Barbeau and Polaha are recurring cast members including Didi Conn (”Grease”), Missi Pyle (”Y: The Last Man”), Hunter Emery (”Orange Is The New Black”), Antonio Cipriano (”God Friended Me”), Peter Riegert (”Local Hero”), and Stephanie March (”Law & Order: SVU”).
Joining Jaden Michael in the thriller series are newcomers including Samantha Bugliaro, Narci Regina (”21 Bridges”), Alexa Mareka (”Boogie”), Manuel Uriza (”Too Old To Die Young”), and Lee Aaron Rosen (”Emily in Paris”), which previously confirmed cast are Constance Zimmer, Abby Corrigan, Sage Linder, Brian Altemus, Adrian Greensmith, and Tovah Feldshuh.
Barbeau portrays Ellen, a fun-loving grandma of Mickey and mother of and Shira.
Polaha plays Brad, a father of Mickey and brother of Shira.
Alongside Coben and MacDonald are Ed Ornelas, Patricia Cardoso (pilot), and Erik Barmack as executive producers. An official release date is yet to be announced.
