3 Netflix movies to switch off from work

There are hundreds of film genres and it is difficult to choose one that becomes your favourite. There are films that mix action with romance, or a musical part with drama, but what is proven is that if a film is a work of art, it does not matter what its genre is.

For its users, Netflix is one of the best and most complete streaming platforms. According to the data, every minute there are a thousand people searching and playing movies and series around the world. Particularly when its catalogue is one of the largest on the market.

There is no better platform on which to watch a film in order to completely switch off from work, especially when there is so much to choose from.

For film lovers in general, there are three films that are perfect for this. They meet all the requirements to help you relax from the sofa at home. With them you will not have to think too much, just enjoy. What is more, you will not be able to take your eyes off the screen once you start watching them because you will be hooked from the very first minute.

Ocean’s Eleven

Casinos have always been a main attraction in many Hollywood movies. Today there are online casinos like VegasSlotsOnline where you can play online gambling. There are a variety of online casinos that are safe, secure and legally licensed to play online. Users have access to a large library of games such as high RTP slots or poker and can even have the best experience playing with live dealers. In addition, they have a variety of payment methods that many land-based casinos do not have. However, Hollywood has not yet taken the plunge to involve online casinos in their films, but land casinos have.

Sure you have heard of Ocean’s Eleven or some of the sequels that followed it, but this is the first one of the series. It is considered a classic of the casino genre and was released in 2001 under the direction of Steven Soderbergh.

Besides the casinos, the main attractive of the film is its cast. You can enjoy the performance of George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Andy Garcia, amongst many others.

The plot of the film revolves around the life of Danny Ocean. He is a thief who has only recently been released from prison and after less than 24 hours, he already planning his next big heist. He plots to get his hands on the loot from the three casinos owned by Terry Benedict. To do this, Ocean has assembled eleven of the best criminals in the world. However, he is not only trying to take all the money, he is also trying to get Tess back. She was his wife in the past and she is now dating Benedict.

You will have to watch the movie to find out whether or not they manage to pull off their plan.

Yes Man

Jim Carrey tried to repeat the success he achieved with Bruce Almighty in 2003, by returning to star in a comedy with fantastic scenes called Yes Man, released in 2008.

Many find similarities between this film and Carrey’s Liar Liar, but in this film we get to know the story of the main character, Carl. Carl is a boring person who avoids taking part in any event or plan that is proposed to him to liven up his bland and lonely life. One day he attends a conference given by a guru, and from then on his life will change completely. He will start to say yes to everything and accept any challenge and opportunity that is put in front of him.

This is how he will meet Allison, a crazy girl, played by Zooey Deschanel, who will make him see love in a completely different way.

As a curious fact, the film is based on an autobiographical book by Danny Wallace. He spent a whole year answering yes to any kind of question and proposal and checking what results were obtained with that attitude.

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga

Netflix has given fans of the Eurovision Song Contest a film to enjoy the Eurovision Song Contest in a different way than ever before, starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams.

In the film, the two protagonists are aspiring musicians who have been chosen to travel to the Eurovision Song Contest. They will have to represent their country in one of the biggest and most important song contests in the world.

Besides its scenery, one of the appeals of this film are the cameos. These appearances are almost too numerous to count and they are about singers who have actually performed at the Eurovision Song Contest. However, according to the critics, none of their performances can compare with Dan Stevens’.

Any of these three options will be good if you want to distract yourself and switch off a bit. Particularly if you have had a hard day at work.
