1000-Lb Sisters is a TLC hit series that is about two sisters who weigh about 1,000 pounds combined in its first season which premiered in January 2020. These sisters are constantly counted on each other for aid. Now that they’re in their 30s, Amy wants to get married and have kids, but is unable due to her being overweight, while Tammy, her elder sister, is mostly bedridden. The Slaton sisters are on a mission to lose that extra flesh and things get even more difficult beyond their comprehension. Speaking to Amy via Louisville, she said, “Doing the show is one way to give us a different light because you can only show so much on YouTube. This is day-to-day stuff that we deal with.” The daily activities include Amy’s journey to finally having her first baby and Tammy’s battle to withstand severe health problems that contribute to several lapses on her dramatic yet optimistic weight loss journey.

Furthermore, as per reported by ScreenRant, Amy was successful in getting weight loss surgery and delivering her first baby, Gage Halterman back in November 2020. In an article ScreenRant speculated that Amy and her husband Michael Halterman could be attempting to have their second baby. Amy previously said that she would want to have another baby.

Will there be season 4 of 1000-Lb Sisters?

There is not much information if the show will return with a new season. It’s also a well-known fact that the series appeared to have had a hard time getting new materials in the third season that aired its first episode on November 15, 2021, and will conclude with its last episode which will air on January 3, 2022. 

Fans have started to question the prospect of the show and it’s uncertain and highly doubtful if the show will have a fourth season but it’s too soon to assume. “I don’t think that stuff is decided until the current season airs [and] they see how many views they get,” a fan responded. “I’d like to see it keep going, because I love garbage entertainment, but it’s getting to a point that unless Tammy decides to do something with her life this season, there’s not much more story to tell,” another fan commented in a Reddit thread. 1000-Lb Sisters season 4 release date: When is it?

Despite fans’ demands for another season, it is uncertain if the show’s fourth season will happen. Likewise, there are no concrete details from the showrunners and we can’t just assume till we get any official news.

But if the show does indeed return with the fourth season, the release date would probably fall in late 2022 continuing through till early 2023 or it might arrive in mid-2023. 

The Cast of 1000-Lb Sisters season 4: Who’s in it?

The sisters, Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton will return if a fourth season happens since they are the main stars of the show. It’s also likely that Amy’s sibling Chris Combs who appeared in the second season might return as well and also her husband and son Michael Halterman and Gage will proceed to appear in the show. It’s not known if Jerry Stokes will return since Tammy broke up with him but it’s likely that Tammy’s newly found love interest Philip might also emerge on the show. However, it was reported by Metro UK that the pair have gone their separate ways.
